[Hui Cong Lighting Network] In many people's impressions, the most beautiful scenery in Shanghai at night is undoubtedly a tall building in the Lujiazui financial district. With the Hollywood blockbuster "Spy Mission III", the film is broadcasted by the Pujiang River. The aerial night view of the Oriental Pearl, Jinmao Tower and Bank of China Building is firmly fixed in the hearts of the global audience. However, starting from May 1, 2010, the protagonist of Shanghai night scene will return to the ground from the sky, and will be transferred from Lujiazui to the Nanpu Bridge and the Pujiang Riverside Expo Park on both sides of the Lupu Bridge. The gentle and quiet Shanghai Expo light from the night will lead people's attention to the deep future.
On the afternoon of May 26, the reporter walked into the laboratory of Prof. Hao Luxi from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University to listen to her thinking about the night lighting design of the Shanghai World Expo Park and the thinking behind the plan.
Professor Hao Luoxi and the Shanghai World Expo were attached to 2006. At that time, she participated in the planning and design team of the Shanghai World Expo Park, which was appointed as the chief planner by Professor Hu Zhiqiang. The team was divided into 20 groups to be responsible for the planning and design of different aspects of the park. As an expert in visual and lighting art, she led the team responsible for the design of the park's night lighting solutions. In April 2008, she and her team of about 15 people were commissioned by the Shanghai World Expo Bureau to formally undertake the overall planning of the night lighting of the Expo site.
After understanding the overall planning of the Expo site and conducting field visits to the Expo site, Hao Luoxi and her planning and design team deeply realized that they faced a complex environment: there is a new building represented by “One Axis and Four Pavilions”. There are also pavilions transformed from the old Jiangnan Shipyard's old factory. There are both self-built pavilions and joint pavilions and leasing pavilions. There are both bridges and docks. It is necessary to pay attention to both the land and the waters. At the time of the overall planning and design of the plan, these factors and constraints must be taken into consideration, so Professor Hao Luxi admitted to the reporter that "the pressure is great."
Professor Hao and her team actively learn from previous World Expos. She said that she had rushed to the Expo site since the opening of the Aichi Expo, and the entire Expo site was carefully examined, but not much can be borrowed, because the environment of the Aichi Expo Park is completely different from the Shanghai World Expo Park. Regarding the enlightenment of the lighting design of the Beijing Olympic venues, Professor Hao Luoxi said that the semiconductor lamps have been used innovatively in the Beijing Olympic Games, which has great significance for the planning and design of the night lighting scheme of the Shanghai World Expo Park, but also It is fully recognized that semiconductor lighting is limited to the current technical bottleneck and will be limited by various conditions in the field of general illumination.
